Working it out: Call for career stories

The discipline of content design is changing at lightning speed. We’re witnessing widespread layoffs, changing role expectations, and a seemingly ever-present feeling that AI is coming for our jobs. And yet, this community is still coming together with creativity, compassion, and support. It’s what we do.

Button wants to put you and your stories front and center. We’re looking for guests to join session host Keri Maijala live on the Button broadcast on September 24, CDT. You’ll share a career insight or story with your peers, which could include:

• Resume/portfolio building
• When to stay and when to go
• Job searching
• “After layoff” activities (whether restful, fearful, or hopeful)
• Survivor’s guilt when you’re NOT laid off
• Leadership and team challenges
• Recruiting new kinds of talent
• Complete career pivots
