Sr. UX Researcher & Assoc. Professor, Purdue University Fort Wayne
Beth Keller Kirycki is a UX researcher, content strategist, and information architect with 17 years of experience working at the intersection of research, systems design, and human-centered communication. She specializes in high-stakes environments — education, healthcare, and mission-driven organizations — where precision, trust, and accessibility aren’t nice to have, they’re the whole point. Her work spans mixed-method research, information architecture, content governance, and AI-integrated workflows, always with a focus on how systems can support better decisions for the people navigating them.
Beth is currently engaged in IRB-approved research examining how empathy-driven communication shapes patient experience and care delivery within a regional integrative medical practice. Her broader research interests include mentoring systems, professional development, and how structured human relationships drive growth and retention.
When she’s not mapping content systems, teaching, or running research studies, Beth is writing a middle grade novel — because understanding how stories work for kids turns out to be surprisingly useful preparation for explaining complex systems to adults.
She serves as Senior UX Researcher, Content Strategy Lead, and Associate Professor of English (Writing and Digital Studies) at Purdue University Fort Wayne.
