Urmi Rahman is an independent senior content designer. She’s a first gen immigrant who grew up in Southern California with a large extended family. Her experiences as an immigrant navigating life in America have fostered her desire for inclusion and making space for diverse opinions. She enjoys spending time with her 3 boys and husband, watercolor painting, journalism, and hiking. She also loves reading or writing about people’s lives, experiences, and wins in her spare time.
Meet your host
Torrey Podmajersky specializes in UX content for global organizations, having previously worked at Xbox, Windows, Google, and Offerup. She authored Strategic Writing for UX and UX Skills for Business Strategy. She mentors, teaches, and speaks about UX and content strategy. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, art, and spending time with her husband and cats at their Puget Sound home.
