“AI-generated” is everywhere, but is that actually the best way to talk about AI-powered experiences? In this insightful session from our Button 2025 conference, Laura Palotie will share how the content designers at Google Shopping developed a benefit-forward framework for communicating AI in ways that feel clear, helpful, and human. You’ll learn how simple language choices can build trust, reduce confusion, and better connect AI features to real user value.
In this session, you’ll learn:
- What key user questions to answer when deciding how to describe AI-powered experiences or mention “AI” in your products.
- How to leverage UI moments such as the loading screen, product naming, and disclaimers to demystify the technology to users.
- How to apply a framework for advocating for simple, value-forward AI labeling with your stakeholders.
- How much to lean into “AI” (or away from it) in your messaging.
