Get clarity and find confidence in our rapidly-changing roles.
This year, 20% of all speaking proposals submitted by Button community members were about content design and AI. (For context, last year that number was 7%.)
These proposals weren’t full of hot takes and dire predictions. They were substantive. Thoughtful. Pragmatic. Relevant.
Here are some of the questions proposals aimed to answer:
- How can we navigate workplace expectations for how we "should" use AI?
- How can we rapidly upskill with limited time and resources?
- What does "ethical design" look like when AI is involved?
- How can we be bold about identifying and naming risk when designing for AI in products?
Ultimately, we decided there was no way we could select just a few of these talks. So we’re inviting you to join us for a full day dedicated to them. Because talking about AI isn’t just about acknowledging what’s changing. It’s about equipping ourselves with the insights, skills, and confidence to shape our future in the field.
This day will help you learn what AI can do for you in your day-to-day work. But it’s also a day to examine together what we as content designers can do to help shape AI technology across every industry. It’s one the most important conversations happening in our field, and we hope you’ll lend your voice.
