Ryan is a Principal UX Writer at Figma, where they play a hybrid writer-designer role on new products and special projects. They care most about evolving the craft of content design — expanding expectations of what a writer brings to the table. They honed their UX chops at Pinterest, Spotify, and Uber Eats before becoming Figma’s first IC writer. In their free time at home in Brooklyn, you’ll find them mixing music, tending their tiny garden, and taking “quick” naps. They’ll try not to be weird when you meet them, but can’t promise anything.
